We’re continuing to evolve our messaging capabilities! The former Messages 1.1 API is now the Engagement Messages API, reflecting a more robust and flexible way to drive user activity.
We’ve also introduced five new message types, expanding beyond existing earned_rewards messages. From a single endpoint, you can now request multiple message types—making it easier than ever to deliver timely, relevant, and customized messaging to your users.
What’s new
The new message types are designed to boost engagement by:
Promoting game installs
Encouraging continued gameplay
Highlighting missed reward opportunities
Celebrating achievements and earned rewards
Sending re-engagement reminders
Directing users back to the game
We offer default messages for each message type, but you can also customize them using the message_template parameter in your request body.
