The new tags attribute in the Games and Games User Data APIs to identify games that may be a good fit for specific experiences, such as onboarding, featured game reels, or easy earning opportunities.
Each game can have up to 20 tags, giving you more flexibility to organize and surface games based on their intended use or characteristics.
These tags are created and managed by the Besitos team.
Who it's for
This update is for API partners who want more control over how games are organized, filtered, or featured in their app.
Use the tags attribute to help you:
Identify games that may be well suited for new-user onboarding
Create featured game reels or curated game collections
Surface games that may offer easy earning opportunities
Build custom experiences around specific game characteristics
How it works
The tags attribute is available for games returned by both the Games API and Games User Data API.
Each game can have up to 20 tags. A game may have multiple tags when it fits more than one use case.
For example, a game might include tags indicating it is suitable for onboarding and easy earnings. You can use these tags to determine how and where to feature the game within your platform.
The tags are provided by us and are intended to help you identify games for different experiences. Use the tags alongside your existing game data and business logic when deciding which games to display or feature.
Example
A game with tags such as onboarding and easy_earnings could be included in an onboarding experience or a curated collection of games intended to help users start earning quickly.
The specific tags assigned to games may change as we refine our categorization and identification of games.
