What to Expect in Integration Testing

Once your integration and tracking are configured, testing helps confirm that your setup works as expected before launch.

Your testing process includes four stages:

1. Smoke Test

Confirm that your basic integration works.

You'll verify that:

  • Your Besitos experience (iFrame or API) loads.

  • Your test user ID passes correctly.

  • An offer appears.

  • The offer click and redirect work.

  • Your postback connection works.

See Integration Smoke Test.

Note on Wallet implementations
If you're using Wallet for payouts, contact your Besitos Account Manager to complete testing and approval.

2. Production Tracking Test

Use a real offer, eligible user, and eligible device to confirm that activity is tracked from the offer through conversion.

You'll verify:

  • Install or initial activity

  • Progress with goals

  • Conversion data

  • Postback

  • Reward

3. Reporting Verification

Confirm that the resulting conversion data is consistent across the sources available to your integration.

These may include:

  • Conversions Data API

  • Conversions report in Besitos Admin

  • Postback data

  • Your own records

4. Pre-Launch Certification

Complete the required testing and confirm that your integration is ready for launch.

What this means for you

You don't need to figure out the entire testing process at once.

Start with the Integration Smoke Test. Once that passes, move on to the Production Tracking Test, then verify your reporting and complete certification.

Each stage builds on the one before it.
