Before lifecycle messaging can reinforce behavior, users must first discover and understand the value of rewards. This stage ensures visibility, clarity, and an easy first win.

Key KPIs

  • Feature discovery rate (% of users who view or click the rewards entry point)

  • First game install rate

  • Time to first gameplay

These early signals indicate whether your placement and awareness strategy are effective.


Best Practices

1. Optimize Feature Discovery

Make rewards visible and easy to access.

Recommended placements:

  • A “Play to Earn” entry point on the home screen (above the fold)

  • Persistent navigation tab or menu placement

  • In-app tooltips or onboarding guides introducing rewards

  • Points balance visibility within your Wallet or user profile

The goal is simple: users should not have to search for rewards.

2. Launch an Initial Awareness Campaign

Proactively introduce rewards through lifecycle messaging.

Recommended channels:

  • Welcome email

  • Push notification

  • In-app announcement

Example:
